Informed by the discovery of archival photographs. The series of works refigure newly recovered documentation of the artist’s father and his time spent in Darwin during the late 1980’s.

Intertwining these moments in time with intimate photographs from the artists childhood, the paintings suggest shifting personas and a relationship to contested sites.
